About AIIMS Bilaspur
In Himachal, there is only one AIIMS one which is located in the Bilaspur district of Himachal Pradesh. This is one of the biggest functional Medical institutes in HP. Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Laid the foundation stone of this AIMS on 3rd of October 2017. In 2019, Union Health Minister JP Nadda, who also belongs to Bilaspur, Himachal Pradesh and former Chief Minister of Himachal Shri Jairam Thakur, did Bhumi Pujan. The total area of AIIMS Bilaspur is spread over 247 acres
AIIMS Bilaspur will be completed in various phases. In the 1st Phase there is 750-bed capacity with 41 speciality and super speciality departments. Phase 1 was completed in 3 years, and now they have all advanced facilities like 64 ICU beds, 20 modular operating theatres. These advanced diagnostic machines, like CT scans, MRI, and digital radiography, are available. There are lab facilities like a Cath lab and a dialysis facility that are also provided in the first phase.. Qualification For Senior Resident
- Applicant medical qualification requirement is the first or second schedule or the second schedule of part 2 of the third schedule of the Indian Medical Council come under the Act 1956.
- Applicants should be registered with the Central / Medical Council.
- In the post graduate degree that is MD/MS/DNB, is come under the medal Council of India rules in the specialty concerned for its equivalent from any government recognise university or Institute.
- A candidate who is going to apply for a specific post has to have a valid qualification certificate/ pass certificate before the last day of application.
Senior Resident Salary
- For medical candidates (MD/MS/DNB) – Pay for all these posts level 2 pay scale will be Rs. 67700 + NPA will be provided. With this, admissible allowances are also provided as per the government of India rules.
- For non-medical candidates (M.Sc. with Ph.D.) – For these applicants, a level 10 pay matrix that is Rs. 56100 with all the administrable allowances will be provided under the rule of the government of India employees.
